Has anyone bought from them recently? I am starting to experience problems with them. I paid for an item quite a while ago and followed up the last few days by means of email and they don't respond anymore.

Will try to phone them tomorrow. Just wanted to know if there was anyone else experiencing something out of the norm with them lately.
 
Hi PearlJam - I'm sorry we dropped the ball with your order earlier this year. I know this thread is a few months old now, but I at least wanted to give you some kind of explanation!

We experienced a huge amount of growth in a short period of time and it took us a few weeks to get up to speed and back to our normal service levels. During this time the vast majority of our clients still received great service, but unfortunately a few fell through the cracks - we aim to provide better service than what you received, so I'm sorry.

Is it still just the two of you running the show? Maybe its time to think about new staff, or perhaps, e-staff. Forum members that can act as your agents?
 
Everyone has their views w.r.t service delivery, I would like to say that the service I received from Prophecy was excellent. I purchsed an antenna extension cable recently and it turned out to have the incorrect connectors, with the fault being on my side. These guys swopped it out for a flash disk to the same value... without any courier cost to myself ... great ;)
 
Artagra, thanks i was subsequently sorted out promptly. At the time something didn't seem right as i have always only received good service. ;)
 
I would use prophecy if they have more:

a] Payment Options [Credit Card would be nice]
b] Delivery Options [Post Office would be nice too]

I recently was looking for a set of headphones, Prophecy had them and Digital Planet have them [same price] . So it ended up being a toss-up between how easy i can pay and receive this. DP didn't give me a PostOffice option either [what's with companies wanting to courier headphones anyway???] , but they had CC .

However there's ironically another thread about DP's slow response and service, if they mess up this one then i guess i'll endure the Bank Deposit thing .
 
DP's service is p!ss poor. Ordered a mouse and headphones, only go the headphones. Ok, the mouse was on back order.. I can deal with that. But since they removed the product from the manufacturers product list. I'm sure Prophecy wouldnt try that.

Ordered a graphics card from Prophecy, and the service delivery was great. Simple. Prompt. Happy
 
Always had great service from Prophecy. Firestar's service have always been terrific.
