Lifters - break down how you get your 140 - 220 grams (dependant on body weight)

I do eggs, chicken, cottage cheese and whey n still battle to hit the "1gr per Ib of body weight" oh and tuna

I don't control my diet as strictly as I should (I still want the will to live :p) but I have eggs in the morning (3-4 times a week), make a lot of food with lean mince and substituted potatoes with cauliflower (shepherds pie, mash "potatoes" etc) and eat a lot of cheese.


If that is what you were looking for.

Think I need to whack in another shake somewhere - I've started deadlifting - is fun
 
All depends on the cycle he is on and his weight.

Cut? Clean bulk? Dirty Bulk? etc.

For me personally I need to be eating at a defecit of 200 cal odd on a Cut @ around 2000 cal a day...

But I prefer to split my 14000 cal week by eating say 200cal more on my weight days and then less on cardio and off days.

On to the topic of protein intake - basically all you said; chicken, eggs, tuna, raw almonds as snacks and steak. That + 3 whey shakes + recovery shake gets me to my daily protein intake.
 
2000 calories on a cut :eek:

I was eating 2600 calories when loosiing weight last year, and it killed me.
 
Haha.

For my body weight, height and lean mass it makes sense :)

Once I cut down to my goal bf% I will clean bulk up and then of course my cut cal amount will increase as the lean mass goes up :D
 
Still working on mine:

Morning:
Oats and Milk with 2 scoops chocolate whey and black coffee with honey.

Mid Morning:
Fruit/chicken breast

Mid mid Morning:
Greek Yogurt with 1 scoop chocolate protein powder

Lunch:
Chicken salad

Afternoon Pre workout:
Fruit and Greek yogurt or Muscle Meal

After workout:
2 scoops whey

Supper:
Fish/steak/chicken with veggies

Bedtime:
1 scoop whey shake with glass of milk

I'm no expert but surely this depends on your body type (all the meso, ecyo stuffs). If you are this lean tall ass ecto dude that struggles to gain wait you should eat more carbs and if you are a more stubby endo dude retaining water etc more protein (less carbs) is better.

Does this sound right?

lol, due to time contraints It's the best I can do at the moment, I'm a hard gainer as well so struggle to put on muscle, they whey helps me with my quota.
Also easier at work than to chow a steak/chicken/tuna at my desk, but I'm working on getting eggs in the morning.

+ the scoops are tablespoon size, not the large scoop you get with some whey.

Not suprised you guys consider yourselfs hard gainers if thats all you eat.

Where I work we not allowed to eat at our desks, only at lunch time, have been caught out a number of times.
Lucky boss understands as his son gyms but I need to still eat a lot more as you say and just whey will not cut it.

If work had issue with my eating I'd get another job :p I currently have five food containers on my desk, a coffee cup, and a 7-day pill container (Vitamens, etc.) ... and I have my cooler box next to me on the floor which still has lunch and afternoon food.

EDIT: I just noticed half the containers are pink :eek: Joy for wife's shopping skills.
