Actually when people use the tricks you aren't going to be smelling anything. I knew who smoked at school, but they came into class not smelling of it.

I got caught smoking at school way back when, and about 16 of us got expelled for first time getting caught. Teachers left class early and caught us out with binoculars .

Sounds like you weren't very good at hiding. The smokers at my school chose a location they could not be seen and no-one could approach without them knowing well in advance.

They're no protestors they're racketeers, racketeering is a criminal offence in most of the world.

Well only some sorts of racketeering. The others are considered just business and quite legal.

Should a motorist who crashes her car while exceeding the speed limit be denied medical care? How much over the speed limit should disqualify someone - 1 km/h, 10 km/h, 50 km/h? What about someone who crashes while over the legal blood-alcohol limit, or not wearing an SABS-approved seatbelt?

Quite right to take issue with being compelled to pay for the self-inflicted injuries of others.

As I see it, the root injustice is compelling the taxpayer to pay, ie this unhappy situation is a distortion resulting from state-provided medical services. Which is why I suggested earlier that our ire be directed at our statist-collectivist overlords who impose the cost of state-provided healthcare on taxpayers whether they like it or not.

In a free and just society no-one would be compelled by the state to support another.

Under 18's are legally not even allowed to be sold cigarettes let alone be allowed to smoke in public.

unless of course we are talking about the 18-25 y.o. still in high school.
but im pretty sure the greatest part of this problem has been taken care of by the wise department of education, just push them through and give them bursaries.

But ok we are lucky we are not allowed to make fatties run in PT anymore.

I can smell the package with the miff stompie in it as well.

If you smoke long enough not even a decent shower and scrubbing take that smell out of you.

Besides which smokers already pay in additional money for their choice. I doubt you're doing the same.

Considering South Africa has a major unemployment problem it might pay to get poor and likely to end up unemployed children smoking as early and as much as possible. Discourage exercise and make sure they get as fat as possible too. If they have a fatal heart attack before they reach working age it will reduce the unemployment numbers. The bean counter types should be overjoyed too.

With that gruesome attitude you certainly missed a heaven sent gift in AIDS. All you had to do was tell everyone AIDS is fatal but you cannot get it unless you share needles or have unprotected sex. Then only folks who could not follow 2 simple rules would take themselves out of the race.
