The learners are already smoking plenty and feel entitled to be taken seriously just because (???). They want a designated time 8-9am to smoke weed to get them through to lunch break otherwise the school day starts too early and is lidderally unbearable.

If you read further I have elaborated on this.
 
This becomes a societal issue when society is expected to carry the cost of the resulting health repercussions.
But on the other hand I'm all in favour of young adults learning to be responsible for their choices. They should sign an indemnity waver that they will never visit a public health facility and then they are free to smoke to their hearts desire.

The school I attended had a smoking section, they decided to rather monitor and regulate as kids would smoke anyway. It was pretty crazy thinking back. This was in 2000.
 
Give em smokes , give em booze , dont come putting colonial expectations on new order learners.

Another insane fascist law that has to go.

Example #974928552 of how socialism corrodes and destroys people's rights, always in the name of the people's benefit. Once you accept the absurd, immoral and unjust notion that somehow other people/society should be forced to carry the cost of healthcare (ie "socialised" healthcare) these distortions and corrosions of rights ineluctably follow. Same goes for housing, education, transportation, childcare, etc etc.

The decay and regression starts when the State intrudes on the property rights and liberties that are natural and proper to persons. When "the good of the people" trumps property rights and freedom of contract, regression and eventually repression follows as certainly as night follows day.

So anyway, the smoke break thing was just a joke by a couple students taking the piss. That was caught on video and the media thought that part was serious or thought it would make good clickbait.
 
The smoking spot at my school was at the very back of the school grounds behind some storeroom. I know of at least a couple of teachers who sometimes joined the smokers there because not even teachers were allowed to smoke

Where the hell do they get the money to afford this.

I would also say no, sorry it’s not just a dirty habit it’s a unhealthy one.
You smell like shyt. Consider the people around you.

And do not tell me all the tricks about not smelling we all smell you we are just too polite to tell you that you stink.
 
I got caught smoking at school way back when, and about 16 of us got expelled for first time getting caught. Teachers left class early and caught us out with binoculars .

Schools sure have changed from then.
 
I got through high school as a smoker just fine. Nipping into the toilets to get the last hit of someone else's entjie between periods (double-clutching that motherfucker down to the filter), or chilling on the far end of the rugby field during breaks (the Southeaster did wonders for blowing away the smoke - trying to light your cigarette was another story, but we all had our tricks).

This lot needs to put on their big-boy pants and STFU.
 
They're no protestors they're racketeers, racketeering is a criminal offence in most of the world.
