Hey all,

I wonder if anyone out there is willing to dust off the cobwebs from your "hardware archives" (I know you all have them, more than likely some boxes shoved in your folks' garage roof on a plank between the rafters...) and let me know if anyone has any PCI (note the lack of 'express') VGA cards lying around. Specifically something with (I know this is pushing the envelope) a TV-Out and >8MB mem? Can't remember if 3Dfx had anything the like on a Banshee (puppy-dog eyes)? Looking for this kinda urgently in the Benoni area for as little remuneration as possible if any. Had a look through my stuff and it seems I'm missing a piece of history between Hercules and AGP 1x...

Thanks in advance,
NW

I had a 512kb ISA card.. the thing is MASSIVE. I think its bigger than a 7900GTX or any new card thesedays.

I dont think I have anything good PCI maby a 2mb one. but thats it.
You can still buy a PCI card at a few shops if you need it that bad..

Get out yer walkers

Starting?? My server, well, one of them, is a P166 (pre-MMX), but it does the job (after a rather long startup).

I'm looking for the card for a mate of mine who is stuck in the awful situation of having a motherboard with no AGP and a SiS-something-or-other onboard. Which wouldn't really be an issue if it wasn't for the fact that his processor is embedded and all he wants/needs is a TV-Out to watch various clips and old visualisations etc.

Any help for the museum/mausoleum???

well, then I think the easiest would be to just get a PCI gfx card. there are still some avaliable, just have to look hard.
