Provisional Tax Question.

Hi Guys,

This may seem like some really silly questions, but I am really really confused here.

I am new CC owner and have to submit a Provisional Tax return for the first time now.

I started my business on the 09/10/2009. I have now received an IRP6 form for tax period 201002.

Which months would fall into this tax period ?

Is a provisional tax form for 6 months ?

My total profit was R8000 up until 28-02-2010.

Is this the amount that would be taxed ?

Is there a rebate for small businesses ?

If anyone can help me , I would gladly appreciate it.

Is a provisional tax form for 6 months ? Yes

My total profit was R8000 up until 28-02-2010.

Is this the amount that would be taxed ? Yes, depending on wheter a Small Business Corporation or not

Is there a rebate for small businesses ? Yes, if certain criteria are met

If anyone can help me , I would gladly appreciate it.
