Hi All,

I have a server with CCProxy and all is working good. The details of the proxy setup are as follows.

Server - Lan1(192.168.1.1) Local Lan
Server - Lan2(192.168.8.2) Internet Gateway
Router - 192.168.8.1

All the pcs connect through windows server which is sending out all the DHCP addresses.

All the pcs and smart phones can connect to the internet while using the proxy setup.

There are 2 tablets on the network that work great with the internet and so forth BUT
there is an APP on the tablets that are used to sync data to one of the pc's.
The app does not work when the proxy is enabled and works when the proxy is disabled.
When the proxy is disabled there is lan connection but no internet
The tablet needs to have internet connection for other things so my question is.

Can i some how by pass the proxy setup on these 2 tablets with CC Proxy?

Seems like over complicating things.

Why windows server?
Why a proxy server?

We need to know more of your setup and its requirements.

Windows server because they are using Active Directory with roaming profiles as well as remote access. They want to monitor every website users go to and CC Proxy is working good for them accept for those 2 tablets.

Add the local IP range as an exclusion in the proxy settings, then it should work fine.

go get a proper firewall like fortigate , sonicwall , sophos , meraki etc so you can stop mucking around with fong kong software. Its fine for home use but in a business rather get the proper stuff.

Its a small business with 3 staff and the owner. The owner set everything up a while ago

Are you saying when the proxy is enabled there is no LAN connection but there is internet? That can't be.
Anyhoo if it is just for monitoring/logging purposes enable routing between your LAN and WAN nic - CCproxy will continue to work - It just means internet on devices will continue to work with or without the proxy.

If the pc's are on a domain as you say you could possibly enforce the use of the proxy via a GPO.
Or don't add the server LAN NIC as a gateway in your DHCP and assign static on the tablets.
(I assume the users aren't too tech savvy).

Obviously you would lose the ability to track browser history from the tablets, but probably your best option without spending any moola.
