PS3 outsells Wii

Sony's PlayStation 3 video game console outsold Nintendo's Wii nearly fivefold in Japan in the three weeks to September 20, helped by the launch of a new cheaper, slim version, a survey said on Friday.

I prefer the PS3 because of it's graphics quality, thats basically the only reason why I like it.

Wii is awesome when its haxxed as well as the xbox 360.

No fully dude I hear you, xbox def is not so badass compared to the solid ps3 performance, I notice lots and lots and lots of screen tearing on the 360, they cant afford to put vertical synch on the 360 lest the games chuck past at 20 fps har har

Prototype on the ps3 is a damned power trip of note, actually, when i get home im gonna jam some ps3

I had a Wii. Its fun in the beginning but you don't want to jump around and look silly the whole time while playing games. The PS3 is by far much better than the Wii.

Well, what you expect? Not just a PS3, but a slimmed one with Blu-Ray..

$249 vs $599 (Initial)

$199 vs $299 (now)

2 yrs with PS3 - and not tired of it (and i am a casual gamer).
6 months with Wii - and tired of it a bit now - a little more fun when u have ppl to play with. Wii is only worthwile 2 when chipped - cos of the 10 games i have, only 1 is good (and that is Tiger woods golf) - so imagine if i had to spend full price on these games.

The PS3 games, i dont get tired of (or takes a long long time).

Sony has made good momentum but I don't think it will stay at these levels. Need to see in the next few months on how console sales go. As far as bundles are concerned, they have alot of great games coming out. Uncharted, MAG, FFXIII to name a few which they will bundle with their new 250GB.
