Dont install CFW, not worth it, esp after the whole Sony vs Hackers of the world issues as of late.
How does the fact that Sony got hacked make me not want to install a CFW? They got hacked because they pissed the hacking/cracking community off by removing the "Other OS" option and by going after Geohotz. If anything they just made me want to install a CFW even more by their antics lately...

wtf is a CFW??
What an brainwashed thought. More pseudo hacker material? I think hackers are the lowest scum of the earth, misfits in life as in cyber terrorists, believe whatever you want but hackers are criminals of the worst kind and they always end up screwing around with other peoples lives.
If you want CFW, then dont update your PS3 or as a matter of fact don't buy one.
You might have bought the device but it was manufactured with terms and conditions, conditions you have neglected upon jailbreaking the damn thing. all your lidlle attempts at cuteness result in is a downed online network, and for you that dont play online to take a big ol hard drive and download for free the games we as consumers have not only purchased for a hefty price, but the games that developers have neglected their families and bled company pride to produce...you reckon this stuff falls on your lap for free? catch a wakeup- you are hurting the producers and the consumers that want to do the right thing.
Actually no. You bought a piece of hardware. You own it, so you can do what you want with it. eg. doorstop/footstool. I'm just not allowed to circumvent the protection and sell it nor copy games.
However I'm free to do what I want with it because I bought it.
dont troll.
My company has bought software for my phone that allows me to see what towers are serving, the SAN CPICH, gives me graphs on the network reliance, weaker serving sites, the tilts on the azimuth, the W/G- do they own it? no they dont and they can suggest modifications but cannot go and hack the software. You bought the plastic, not the right to do anything you want with the software, sorry but your argument holds no grounds, now go kick your doorstop.
