ps3 display issue

Also did you compare it to a Sony Bravia HDTV. anyone else that can confirm this

Ask the people on the ps3 forums. They are more helpful with screens. If you can afford the new Bravia's then don't waste your money on a PC monitor.

i checked on the ps3za forums and there was a topic on the same thing and many people experiencing the same issue so i will save myself some money or wait for a BIG special and buy myself a Sony Bravia TV. 1 Question should I go for HD Ready or full HD?

depends on the size, 50" or bigger you should get full HD but anything smaller you wont notice the difference.. unless you sit on the screen.

The Samsung HD Ready TV's are awesome and cheap, but then for R1300 more you could get a Full HD Sony LCD.

for what tv should I go

KLV-32BX300

R4098

any other tv that you people can suggest that might be cheaper and almost the same quality. My room is not that big.

Since you are sitting much closer to your PC screen, the blockiness is much more noticable on a 720p game. When you run a game at 1080p (Your PC screen's native resolution), it will appear sharp and clear as the menu normally does.

That is an awesome screen but I would go for a 40", 32" can feel a bit small even from 2.5m away

2.5m is way too far to sit from a 32" if you play games dude. 1.5m max.

40"+ you end up sitting further away because games look more pixelated and jaggies are more noticeable due to at least half of current gen games being sub 720p. Only go for 40"+ if you are getting for a large room like the typical household lounge.

I decided not to go for the HDTV due to me spending the R4k elsewhere for now
