PS3 Exclusives are Graphical Beasts!

It's important to me cause if it's true, I'll probably think about buying a PS3 ;) Cause I just can't believe that. I also hate it if people make statements like that without proof, because it normally turns out they're lying.

And for $%#@ sake, will you stop with the exclusives / multiplat thing? I'm not asking because it's an exclusive, I'm asking cause I think you're talking k@k and giving you an opportunity to prove me wrong.

But with the PS3 also potentially maxed out, why would you buy a PS3? Seems like to you, maxed out means you won't see any improvements or great games, while to me it means hopefully more developers can get 100% ouf of the beast. ;)

Oh, and since you asked so nicely:

http://www.edge-online.com/news/we’ve-“maxed-out”-xbox-360-says-ea-games-vp

We've “Maxed Out” Xbox 360, Says EA Games VP | Edge Online

I think that we've maxed out the 360 but we haven't maxed out the PS3

If you are seriously considering getting a PS3 then get one. The line of exclusives that is currently around and the ones released in the next few months will be worth your while. Also since the PS3 exclusives that are already out can be bought for a really good price, you can game cheap until the new stuff comes out.

Nah, was just kidding. Still more than enough to keep me busy on the Xbox. I'll buy a PS3 as well when there's a couple of games that I REALLY want to play. So far it's just Uncharted, doesn't justify the money just for that.

I'm really into racing games, so if the new Porche wheel turns out to be really crap, I might change my mind and buy a PS3 just to be able to play racing games with the G25 wheel. ;)

Oh, my apologies Kerrang for saying you're talking k@k. ;)

You mean this?

Will be interesting to see the port details re graphics.

Tales of Vesperia PS3 port sells 147K copies on opening day

.
I want! :D
Any indication when it is coming this side? Maybe will need to import! Kerrrang, have you played it on the xbox when you had one?

Yes indeed, what a joke

You're effectively saying 'Lets compare God of War on the ps2 with the HD remastered PS3 version...' - its no comparison between the 2

NG2 (360) released June 2008
Sigma 2 (PS3) to be released on October 1st 2009

Do you not see how obvious it is that Sigma will outshine the 360 version... yet you still say 'PS3 Multiplats are now better'

The comparison is fail because they are/were/will be released in different years. Take a game thats being released at the same time, and has had the same dev time - NFS Shift... which is better?

We cant mention same day release multiplats, it makes them sad.

Its only fair to compare games that have been released a year later on the PS3, to make it fair
Like Bioshock......wait that still looked better on the 360.

Logic is flawed there. PS2 is previous gen console. Your logic is that a comparison between multiplat games are ok if they are released the same time but built specifically for the xbox 360 and ported to the ps3 to save time? Also if NG2 was released on the xbox 360 now, will there be a difference besides additional content? If you agree, then you are saying that NG2 was created with only half a thought in mind and developers were more concentrated in getting the game out & now only taking the effort in adding quality to the PS3 version?

Are you saying that that the xbox 360 is previous gen console? ;) Your comparison is between PS2 & PS3 for GOW remastered but isn't NG2 released for the xbox 360?

It only makes us sad that multiplats are ported xbox 360 games. But hey, the PS3 still performs pretty well with xbox code right? Uncharted 2 cannot be released in xbox 360 unless they wanted to redevelop the whole game.

It would be the same for other games as well. If PS3 devs were to re-do Uncharted 1 now, then they would be able to do it with better graphics. Otherwise how did they manage to do Uncharted 2 with better graphics than 1? Unless there was some kind of PS3 upgrade we missed?

True

Logic doesn't work on PsS fanbois... its was a stupid comparison to get the point across how stupid it is trying to compare NG2 on the 360 with the about to be released Sigma 2.

If the 360 version was held until now, there would most likely be the same amount of content... I see it as the NG devs adding some form of exclusivity to the PS3 crowd by allowing a story character (Rachael) to be playable (not that another playable character matters to the NG fanbois ;))

As Nduimiso said, Bioshock is the same as this NG discussion, but I didn't mention due to which platform it performed better on :erm:

If the comparison is stupid then don't mention it. If you going to mention something stupid, you will get flamed for it. If you say the 360 version is the same if it were to be released now, then why are you saying the comparison is stupid?
If a game was available on both and built custom to both, would that not be the most fair comparison? Something maybe the xboi fans cannot comprehend levelling playing fields?

Damn, these comparisons are useless. This has been argued to death, and as i've said earlier, the gameplay experience is the same, or even better if you get additional content.
I've played Bioshock on both 360 and PS3 - guess what, didn't notice any graphical disparities (granted, i was sitting +- 4 meters from the screen, and i didn't have any binoculars strapped on at that specific point in time), but it was a better experience on PS3 because of the additional content, challenge rooms, etc.

Uncharted 2 uses an improved version of the uncharted render engine. This will add to a much better gaming experience.
