PS3 - Finally!

So I finally decided to buy a PS3 out of getting sick of my Xbox 360 with never having anything new to play. Just two questions: Should I enable PS Smoothing and additionally should I enable PS Upscaling? Thanks :D

PS: Bought Killzone 2 and MGS4 to start off with.
 
First off GOW3. Epic game.
Then NFS Hot Pursuit 2.

Then get online and download some games off of Psn:
Loco Rocco Cocorico is a cool little game, plus a whole lot of other awesome games.

Then, get a Move and the Sports games. Fighting is awesome, Frisbee golf is lots of fun with your buds, and for a cool down Bocce is also alot of fun.
Then get Mini Golf from PSN and play that with the move.
 
I don't think so you can hardly see the difference.

Cheers man. Does Killzone 2 have local MP? Does it have matchmaking or dedicated servers? Updates for it? I'm keen on trying MP soon!
 
fps is difficult to shoot with PS3 (online mp) - pc is better for that (talking out of exp). Or maybe I just suck.

Well coming from the Xbox controller, FPS seems one hell of a lot more difficult!

I play halo reach, bad company and and medal of honour on console and it's not so bad. it also helps that we are all using the same controller so we are all equally disadvantaged.

Killzone 3 is coming out this tuesday. Guess you wanted to catch up on the story

PS3 game i highly recommend is Uncharted 2 if you haven't played already, 3 coming in November. I love it!

I found BFBC2 a breeze to play on the PS3 - love it so much I no longer play games on my PC.

Also get yourself Heavy Rain, epic game - was playing it again tonight. You might also want to check out BT Games for their bargin deals. I buy their under R100 specials like Mini Ninjas (awesome), Paradise City (Mkay but not bad for R100 bucks).

Get God War collection in HD. Then God of War 3. As already mentioned get Heavy Rain, but it's more immersive if you have PS Move.

Uncharted seems to be a good choice as well as Little Big Planet.
 
Iv'e played GoW 1 and 2, though I hear the "collection" is visually updated? Still, I'll rather go straight ahead and buy GoW3. As for GT5, I used to love GT2, but got seriously disappointed with the previous releases- I'll wait for it to go platinum. I was essentially intending on buying resistance 2 and not Killzone 2, not quite sure what happened as to why I ended up buying Killzone 2 lol. Is there a Motorstorm collection you can buy somewhere?

Bought my PS3 a few weeks ago. Just finished GoW 3 - really good, awesome graphics. Busy with Uncharted 2 - also enjoying it. I'm definitely considering replaying GoW 1 & 2 in HD at some stage, although I have a few games to finish first - Bioshock 2, Fifa 2010 and Assassin's Creed. Having a young one in the house unfortunately seriously impacts on game time. :( :)

Bah, I tried Bioshock 2 on PC and was seriously disappointed. Will definitely get Assassins Creed 2 sometime.....pfff too many to buy :/
