This updates are annoying - cause it doesn't let you sign-in until you do them - and bandwidth in SA isn't cheap.

Think Home theathre, Music, Gaming, Media server, Perfect sound ..... all that without a PC, Can the XBox Elite muster that? NO! NO! NO!

Im trying to decide between an Xbox and a PS3, so if you would explain it would be great, thanks.

I think at the end of the day, ill take the one which has the best games.

Media Server ... CHECK (it integrates with MCE or using Tversity with XP/Vista)
Gaming --- CHECK
Home Theatre --- CHECK
Surround Sound --- 5.1, but a CHECK there as well

Please highlight my faults ... you seem to know me and have an opinion on everything.

Are you so riled that I can respond time and again to your posts?

Thus in short. {PC (Advanced) + Xbox elite} together still does not make a PS3 and that for a R1400.00 difference IF you do not upgrade the drive for another R1600.00

So thanks we CHECK'ed that you confirmed the obvious

THAT IS, as i stated. THE PS3 do not need a PC to do all that AND MORE.

So a PS3 runs as a Internet server, runs software packages (maybe since it can run Linux - 360 can do so as well with a homebrew mod), etc - etc - etc

So compare a Arcade all you want to a PS3, as that is idiotic as you alluded of my arguments in another thread.

All the things you mentioned that the PS3 has in terms of a media server, gaming, etc the Xbox 360 Pro/Elite can do ... so what's your point CAPTAIN OBVIOUS.

You need a PC for the Xbox elite to do what the PS3 can do as a STAND ALONE deviced. Prove that wrong.

So now we getting somewhere. So on that point alone you want to a prove a point.

First admit that the 360 can do the other things I mentioned ... then we'll continue on this point.

That is what the Xbot's do when they run out of arguments not me. Untill yesterday I was in the market for a Arcade untill Doobi woke me up and posted that a harddrive will cost an extra R1600.00.

Now thats bad. thus for that money I can just buy the Elite or for that matter buy the PS3 for an extra R1400.00 and have the best Home theatre device, player, free standing media server on the market included.

And BTW it plays games too.

Non comprehende. M$ brainwashed everyone IMHO
