As it it is, the 8.5 DL discs haven't come down much in price!

And for R100 (and a bit more) you can buy a second hand origina (not new releases, the older games)l in mint condition.
 
Wow, just think of the possibilities if the hyper visor isn't in the way and you install Linux on the PS3!

I'd buy an extra PS3, crack it and use it as a media center.
 
I think it will push up PS3 sales, and prices of writers and media will come done.

Take2 are selling Verbatims 25GB 5 pack for around R300
 
If this is indeed for real then i damn well hope it will work on the slim. I currently have to play media through my crappy wireless network cause my external drive is ntfs. Also if the psp is anything to go by then this could have much potential.

it might turn into another cat and mouse game where the hackers are always a few days behind sony

true, but the psp is ridiculous, sometimes they release a patch every week, and if its a mandatory patch for PSN play, well then its gonna suck for PSN users
