PS3 has been jail broken

Ok, perhaps i am new to this whole jailbreak thing but here are my issues.....

* It's not legal (D'uh) or is it?
* Have to have a bugger line than 384k if you want to 'backup' your PS3 games?


How the hell does this 'pcb' work? suppose youtube can tell me that?

Has anyone actually tried this thing and have it working?

Legal? Not really. Sony can and will ban your PSN account if you use PSGroove online.

You don't need an adsl line. All you need is a device capable of sending the hack to the PS3. Certain USB Drives, Nokia N900, Soon PSP, Iphone and possibly any android device. Once you have that you can back up games to your internal PS3 hard drive or your external hard drive.

And yes it does work, got check out psx-scene.com for more info.

Ok, maybe i was to vague on this ADSL point...

by backup, i meant, pirate.10GB game on 1 384k line, what are they making jailbreak for then? so you can backup games? Come now....

anyone have a step by step guide for the N900 hack (a noob friendly one please :D )

i downloaded the necessary but just need an easy guide to follow with my N900

Found this seems pretty simple :p

Instructions :
1.Download PSFreedom Driver
2.Extract “psfreedom.tar.gz”
3.Copy extracted files to your n900′s /root directory using SCP (Use WinSCP for windows)
4.Log in on your n900 using putty or any ssh client
5.Execute .sh script, input this command : ./psfreedom-enable.sh
6.Unplug power from your PS3
7.Plug in your n900 on your PS3
8.Plug back power on your PS3
9.Press power, and then quickly press eject button
10.Magic happen! :>
When you are done or want to revert back to the operation mode of your n900 simply run the command : ./psfreedom-disable.sh

i'm gonna be honest here and say i have no idea how to do the blue one :p
maybe i should just wait for and easier guide or solution
