PS3: In game footage

yeah but xbox360 will be out way before PS3.
IMO it will be like the 7800gtx vs x1800xt saga.
The 1 that comes first gets all the fame in the begining until the beter is realease

Maybe but the Xbox 360 is not coming to SA and the PS3 will.

The INQ has gotten its hands on an Xbox360, yes, there is a Wal-Mart near us, and was completely underwhelmed by the quality of the games. Graphics quality was poor, and pixels were showing up blocky, ruining the wow-factor of the new console.

Now they say the PS3 will have the same problems but from the footage seen so far teh PS3 is looking much better.

So far all I know of is that the 360 will be available as grey import at AnimeWorx

"Every new machine has a nasty first set of games as the programmers work up to speed on the hardware. In this case, the up side is that there is about 6x the CPU power available and coming to a console near you in the second generation of games.

The scary part is that everyone tells me that the PS3 is harder to program for than the Xbox360, and the tools are nowhere near the quality of Microsoft's. That means that even with an extra six months of design time, the initial PS3 games may be worse."

I doubt those are actual in game play videos

They are confirmed to be realtime and running on the PS3 plus go look at the GAMEPLAY VIDEOS OF MGS4 on Gamespot, those are real ingame videos.

Well if I want a grey import I can just ask my dad to bring me one instead of paying someone else to do it. The other thing is that games are not readily available which poses a problem.
 
Well we'll have to wait and see wont we ;)
my money is on xbox
 
Actually the Xbox 360 is coming to SA. At RAGE, a Microsoft Rep confirmed that it will come sometime in the future.

They said that about the original XBox too - I'm still waiting. :p
 
well, i am hoping to pick up the X360 in December from Animeworx, be it grey or blue or pink its MINE!

and thus maybe i will feel sorry for the PS3 people who will have to wait till the end of 2006... :p
