PS3 Ntfs ? Why

Or try the Mac filesystem, dunno about the PS3 but the xbox can read it, due to iPod support :)
 
@Matt : As far as i'm concerned, they should definitely support both...but fat32 is the global file system, mac, linux or pc....most usb disks are fat32, also memory sticks for camera's and the like...if they had to choose, fat32 was the obvious choice...but would love NTFS support!
 
but arent FAT32 read speeds slower? thats what i picked up sometimes :confused:

if there isnt much difference il consider formatting my hard drive rather then to Fat
 
Fat is much slower..bulkier file system, but NTFS is proprietary...should just support both, but i guess you only have to format once...which i've done, so now it's no worries...and the format was pretty easy with Swissknife...
