If you don't mind 2nd hand have a look at www.bidorbuy.co.za. You might be lucky to get a 60GB model that has backward-compatibility with PS2 games (assuming you have titles gathering dust).

If your going to spend a few K on the PS3 - i wouldn't get a second hand one. you don't know if its been abused or how long it will last.
