PS3 Replacement Gamepad advice

Hi All,

I bought my PS3 second hand two years ago and it did not come with controllers. I used some ultra budget controllers up til now, but I am getting slightly fed up with them as another one bit the dust when I was busy teaching my kids some gaming. So I am in the market for a new gamepad and I have done some research into finding a one that does not sell ultra cheap, but goes for the mid range. It does not seem as if one can still buy original Sony ps3 controllers, and shelling out for a dualshock 4 also seems a bit much for my needs on the ps3. So, what I came up with is the following 3 :

I am a bit undecided and would appreciate some thoughts on the above 3 products, especially if you own one of these. Or if you might have some other insight that I am missing e.g. another option.

Honestly as crap as the original PS3 dual shocks are, they are probably the better to get. I've gone through numerous original PS3 controllers and the cheapies and yes I did find one cheapie that originally felt fantastic. It was as bulky as the 360 controller, had non-slip grips, was proper bluetooth as well, but it eventually suffered the same fate as an original controller, left analogue drift, which requires you to open up the controller and clean it up, but that can be risky and you can end up causing more damage. Also the newer ones are actually harder to open up and clean.

It's just a pity both ones I had ended up like originals issues. I returned the first to takealot, then about 3 months later the second one :-(. Sorry it was the wireless one

Cash Crusaders definitely sells 2nd hand originals. Sometime cash convertors too. You will not find new original ones anywhere.
I bought a generic wireless PS3 controller from BT games. Its cr@p

Ok, cool. I'll give Cash Crusaders a shot and see what they have. I used to buy the ultra cheap after market gamepads from them. So I'll see if they have any at my local branch. Otherwise I'll try one on the list.
