I don't think you can format in FAT32 beyond 500Gb?

Can't you partition the drive?

I have not tried plugging the hard drive into the ps3 yet whilst in NTFS but when i saw this thread, thought i prep for FAT32.

you think the NTFS drive will be picked up on PS3?

search google for fat32formatter.exe, formatted my 500gb drive without any problems.

Did a 1TB Iomega using this as well ; all good
