PS3 vs PC

These discussions aren't simply about "the PC vs the Console, which is better?".. I like consoles - what I don't like is their affect on PC gaming. Take the tactical FPS series Rainbow Six. Originally for PC. Then released on consoles and PC. And now the PC version is relegated to a console port with many, downright non-tactical, consolised features.

Wondered why your favourite new PC game has a big bold fisher price interface? So that console gamers can actually read the text on their lowrez televisions (watch the Bioshock vids to this phenomenon).
 
What would make it even better to own a pc is grand turismo port to pc ,but unlikely due to sony having the licence to that product,and then sum
