PS3 & XBox 360 prices plummet

What is Dion Wired's usual price? It's a bit pointless to state that those prices are only valid to the first 20 customers at the new Pretoria store. What about everyone else?
 
They missed the boat - I already have my Wii and I'm not buying another console. I am happy with it. Too late Sony - sorry.
They dropped prices cos they would never sell in the current economic climate.
 
Just wish they could bring console game prices in line with pc game prices :(
 
Xbox 360 packages are being advertised for equally low prices. Dion Wired, in the same special as the PS3, is offering an Xbox 360 Pro package to the first twenty buyers for R2 000.

Thats can't really be called a price drop. For only 20 buyers - thats as good as useless! :(

How about dropping the Arcade price!!!

This is awesome news. could see good specials in the future, maybe for xmas period. although, imho, i cant see paying zar3000 for wii simply to move my arms around.

Well decide for yourself. Sony drops the price based on a new SKU which is cheaper to manufacture and sells old SKU stock to get rid of it. On the other hand M$ drops their price to compete by giving you more for less. No change in SKU. Thus you may work out for yourself who was ripping off whom (and still do)
