I use the normal Gold headset and it works well. I actually use it more on my PC.

Sorry I’m new to PS4 so Gold doesn’t mean anything to me lol

I typically use apple earphones because, in my opinion, they are the most comfortable and best sound ever. Also have an online mic but that mic doesn’t work when plugged into DS4 controller

I also got a Bose Soundsport headset, and go figure, that won’t even pair... so that’s not an option! Sigh
