PS4 Peripherals for my son

It works over USB. I plugged my logitech unifying receiver into my PS4 and the connected M&KB works perfectly in the menus. I haven't tried it with games, but as others have said, it will only work if the games support it or with something like the xim.

As for BF, the current BF, BF 1 is WW1.
The next one, BF V, is WW2. I think they said its about 2 months away?

Not the newest game, but if he wants something single player, RPG and he doesn't have it yet, The Witcher 3 GOTY edition.

I got Witcher3 on PC. How is Diablo3, still good?

Don't know about still. My brother got it for PS3 even though he had it on PC as well. The console version (and especially couch co-op) is apparently more fun.

The Xbox One and PS4 versions are miles ahead of the older generation version, I haven't played the One version for about a year, but when I did it was pretty fun.

Are you using builder pro controller scheme?

no, normal default. to be honest i'd rather focus on my shooting skills for now and just basic building
i do okay surviving till the end, its just the building part i struggle with but then again i'm not too stressed about it.

this game would be even better without the building IMHO but it is what it is.

Oh no! I saw various YT vids bud were people just plugged the stuff in and it worked for lots of games - however, certain games required the XIM.

That's why I originally asked about Fortnite, it's the main game right now I can see a kid asking his parents to buy keyboard and mouse for console because it supports keyboard and mouse plug and play and it gives you an advantage over controller players.

Oh, I never tried that... I'll try tonight and see...

Pretty sure there isn’t native support for keyboard and mouse on most games.

I seem to recall only War Thunder actually.

Didn't work, even on Fortnite - not for me anyways.

thanks, i was playing last night and watched some of the other players in action, this one guy jumped up and down and i was watching his aim, it was constantly and precisely on his opponent even when moving and jumping around. these guys are definitely using a mouse - no way you got that kinda skill on a normal controller.

oh well it is what it is i suppose - i'm just happy to get a kill every now and again :D
