i gifted my ps4, but haven't delivered it yet, i will as soon as that charging dock thing arrives. BUT i've been using my ps4 in rest mode to charge the ps5 controllers

call me paranoid, yes. i also dont have any usb connections to it. only power, network and hdmi. there was a system update yesterday, but i didn't catch the release notes

it boots fast enough with the ssd and fibre sorts the updates quick quick

I might just get a PS5 sooner than I thought... and here I was shopping for Fiber to replace my LTE

Edit: F it.. I applied for 20/20, lets see if they actually have stock.

Improves system stability specifically there was an issue with the front USB charging controllers.

1. "standby" mode with power to usb ports for charging and ability to download/update titles whilst in rest mode
2. something to do with being rest mode and corrupting storage, but i could be completely wrong

Did anyone actually get a Digital with the first batch of pre-orders? It appears as though everyone who managed to get a hold of one got the Standard version and subsequent pre-order allocations mostly appeared to be Standards as well.
