PS5

Spoke to someone at Makro Woodmead who advised that stock would be received by 11am and I would receive a sms by 1pm advising I could collect.

Ps. I ordered on 8 Dec.

I wish Takealot would get their crap together. Ordered 1st December and no feedback or update yet. Not even sure if I will get one this year. Really is bad from their side.
 
Just had a call from Makro to request that I come in-store to collect the console before close of business today as courier delivery would only be possible next week - order placed 13 November.
 
I got a call from Koodoo saying they did not receive all of the Digital Editions last week. They expect to only receive it next week (supposedly). I preordered with the 2nd wave.

These guys at Incredible Connection have really come through for me, a true Christmas surprise, they just delivered, bought Tuesday night and delivered this morning. They’ve gained a fanboy!

Picked mine up a few days ago but haven't opened it yet - wanted to wait till today so I'd have uninterrupted setting up/ gaming time.

I've never been an early adopter of tech, this is really the first time I've been early for this stuff but I kinda get it now. Proper excited.
 
My order status changed to "being packed" and expected today by CoB. I'm based in CPT.

ETA just changed to Tuesday the 29th. Seems like we'll be getting it this year.

Just got mine. Was supposed to be delivered tomorrow but went to the depot to collect in case I was not home today.

10min and I was out. What I find weird is that the original hdmi cable is not working on my TV. Maybe my Samsung does not support hdmi 2.1 but I'm sure it suppose to be backwards compatible. Very weird. Using a generic hdmi cable from my Ps4 at the moment and working well. New controller is insane and played quite a bit of Astros room. Fun game.

Any discounts on 12 months psn?

Was it the disc or digital version?

Probably my tv. Samsung ru7100 is my tv and I doubt is supports 4k at 120fps. 60fps is what I'm stuck with I guess.

But isn't that a 60hz panel? The clear motion rate of 120fps is just a gimmick and actually make picture quality worse
