Sony Acquires AAA Multiplayer Developer Firewalk Studios

PlayStation announced that it has acquired Firewalk Studios, and that the studio still hard at work on its first original AAA multiplayer game. This comes after PlayStation and Firewalk Studios announced back in 2021 that they had formed a partnership to publish the aforementioned multiplayer game.

“Building a new studio at scale has been an incredibly exhilarating and relentlessly daunting task. Fortunately, we’ve been supported by great partners throughout,” explained studio head Tony Hsu and game director Ryan Ellis. “ProbablyMonsters helped turbocharge us in setting up the studio, and Sony has been supporting our project and our creative vision from the beginning.”

Is there a list of FPS games that support keyboard + mouse on the PS5?

I've subscribed to PS+Extra but would like to know which FPS games are supported before downloading.

I finished the Forbidden West Burning Shores DLC, enjoyed it - not groundbreaking when it comes to the story but nice enough. Some of the new mechanics/tech are pretty awesome and there is once again just an immense attention to detail in the world.

The story felt a bit short, but it is only DLC - I just wish there were a few more side quests and fewer collectibles.

Why can't I find this in the PS Plus Collection?

For those of you who have completed GoT - how long did it take you?

I’m taking my time and doing all small side missions and tales and then the main story.

Such a beautiful game so I explore a lot

Three to four weeks doing everything.
The PS5 DC was a bit quicker even with the Iki Island DLC, the trophies just auto-popped and the whole map opened up.

Look, some folks rush through games like they are eating Smarties. I treat a game like a good, long, steak dinner.

Games are about entertainment, so however you enjoy them is based on your personal preferences. Each to their own - stop worrying about how long you take! :)

Not worried; just curious. A mate of mine has spent 417 hours on the game. I know RDR2 took me 80hrs.

I'm definitely not rushing this game - and going to try get 100% complete on it.

Do the raid.

Well, I don't know if there's still only one 3-part raid or what since I played it back at release but it was absolutely worth doing. The extra content also kept me busy for weeks. Good fun. Actually, this was probably the best free content of any game I played.

Just be sure you have your parry mastered for the raid else ask your team for a carry.

40-50 hours I think. I did everything (I think, but definitely didn't do any of the legends stuff), including Iki Island.

Not sure how one could possibly spend 400 hours in this game though :)

Yeah I was shocked to see that. I spent around 80 hours on RDR2.

Good to know the game isn’t 400 hours long lol
