PS5

I also ordered from Amazon UK, was suppose to ship the 7th and pretty much exact same story as above.

I was billed a second time just now, but both are still pending on my credit card. Hopefully this is a sign of a good thing that the order is being processed again (ie, they have stock) and the double billing will be sorted without too much hassle.
 
I see the Amazon UK price is now 689.99 which is only 10 pounds cheaper than it was originally. Wonder how I managed to get 40 pounds off on mine, not that I'm complaining :laugh:

Mine as well, I've never heard the fan.
Don't think id be happy with a loud fan though.
 
I'm surprised at the lack of news coverage about Amazon's shoddy pre-order fulfillment. Just a bit of complaining on forum boards and reddit...

I don't think there's any issue from within the UK, I can buy one now and have it at my doorstep tonight...I think there might have been some pre-orders that were delayed but again, you can buy it at plenty of other places without issue, so people likely just cancelled and went elsewhere.

I'm starting to wonder if this is another case like some products being distributed by specific companies (Apple & Core, Nikon & PDG etc.) Afaik you can't buy some of those products on international Amazon either

Heard some videos where it sounds like the old PS4 Pro jet engine for some people.

Someone suggested Sony went conservative with the fan speeds and will adjust it down in the firmware once they have gathered more data over time.

That and the PSSR issues has changed my plan a bit. If I get the Pro next year after a few software updates when things seem better across the board, then I will keep my original PS5 in case I need to send the Pro back under warranty for excessive noise or coil whine.

I've been wondering the same. Maybe something like ICASA licencing issues, I dunno.

Amazon still allows you to purchase it from here so maybe it's just their incompetence.

Just bought a PSVR 2 off Carb (a sealed one) 🙈

I've been wanting to add one to the collection for a while, but was waiting for deals. I'm going to have so much Playstation stuff delivered to my house in the next couple of weeks :laugh:
 
Koodoo starting to ship out 30th Anniversary items. I have a separate order for the console which hasn't had any movement yet though.
