PS5

I’ve been replaying GoT again. Originally played it with Japanese language and English subtitles. Which was a mistake as there was just too much reading and I stopped half way through. I also skipped a lot of the side quests. Big mistake as it leaves your character weak and difficult to fight battles in main storyline.

Restarted the game in English and doing all side quests until I have to do main story line to continue.

This is the way; I’m loving this game almost as much as I loved RDR2. Almost.

Bloodborne Remake confirmed.

10% ≠ Own
Sure they have a large voice but it does not make Kadokawa/From Software a 1st party Studio.

No one said they are? They already have From exclusives anyway, don't think they need to buy Kodokawa if they wanted more

Sony owns the Bloodborne IP already, if they wanted a remake it would've happened by now.

Guess I'm in the minority opinion here but Bloodborne is perfectly playable on PS4 and PS5 already, a 60FPS patch will be welcome but a remake is not really needed at this time.

My guess is they will have a remake or prequel/sequel set for a PS6 launch title like they had with Demon's Souls, I hope 😬

It drastically needs a 60 FPS patch or stabilization of 30 fps. When you meet/fight Djuras in Old Yharnam, it feels like the game drop to 20 fps, maybe even lower, on ps4/ps5 doesn't matter, I finished the game on both consoles. That entire section of the game is so cool but the performance is terrible in that section of the game and there are some other sections as well in the DLC.

But I do love me some cope now that Sony have 10% shares of Kadokawa, maybe they will allow FromSoft to work on bloodborne or even a sequel.

Yea it has some bad frame pacing issues I think, but honestly didn’t bother me too much :)

30FPS is complete garbage on OLED imo 🤷‍♂️

I lasted 20 minutes in Bloodborne before deleting and downloading Elden Ring.

A 60FPS patch would be amazing, because I want to play this game

I powered through it :D, it was easily one of the best games I've ever played lol. Worth it!

But yea, no doubt a 60fps patch and a fix for frame pacing would be most welcome

I'm also trying BloodBorne, Dark Souls 1 just feels to old.
The 30fps is eew.

An enemy killed me and I woke up in some prison place, made it to a lantern but now I don't know how top get back there.

So I made some slight modification to the Pro

On the last pic you can see the protector comes in two parts, which is quite understandable due to the curved surface at the top of the console, you could use a heat gun or hairdryer but I didn't use either. On the other hand its not very noticeable unless you're specifically looking at that part but I'm happy with it.

Juss adding that extra CF, you should bolt the PS to the tv unit so it doesn't fokof out the door.
How many extra FPS you gain?

I still haven't received my refund for the first failed order yet. I'm chatting with Amazon about it now.

EDIT: Been told I just have to wait, the item is still "on its way" back to Amazon. Pretty sure the thing was lost but they told me to wait until the 16th which is the maximum time they'll wait and I guess they'll just refund then regardless. Sucks having R17k just missing from my bank account though until they fix this.
Now that I'm back at my desk after the holidays I checked and noticed the refund from Amazon still hadn't been processed.

I had to contact chat again and they said they've initiated the refund for me. Cheeky buggers holding on to my money for so long.

Rumour: Halo: The Master Chief Collection Coming to PS5 This Year

One of the questions PlayStation owners are looking to have answered in 2025 is how Microsoft's multi-platform efforts will evolve after its initial batch of PS5, PS4 ports. Future titles like DOOM: The Dark Ages and The Outer Worlds 2 have been confirmed for Sony systems, but what about the back catalogue games? According to industry insider NateDrake, speaking on his podcast, Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Microsoft Flight Simulator are two titles he's "heard" will make the jump across.

He said: "Games that I have heard will be released multi-platform in 2025 beyond the obvious include Flight Simulator... and Halo: The Master Chief Collection." NateDrake states both games will be coming to PS5 and Switch 2, alongside the above two games and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion remake in 2025.

A known and reliable insider within the industry, NateDrake has often been on point with their predictions and claims, with many seen on the ResetEra forum. He continues: "Microsoft is just gonna fully embrace that [third-party push]. I'd say any game coming out this year [from Microsoft] will at some point find its way to PS5 and/or Switch 2. It's just gonna be a question of when."

Phantom Blade Zero Fans Should Circle January 21 on Their Calendars

Phantom Blade Zero will be having a gameplay showcase trailer premiering on January 21 that highlights the strengths of its mechanics. Many gamers are excited to get their hands on Phantom Blade Zero, which in all available footage has shown off combat that looks impossibly slick, comparable to what games in previous generations used to need cutscenes and quick time events to achieve. People want to see if the full release holds up to the idea that's been shown.
