Was about to say that isn't a deal. R12000 console plus R1200 controller for R14000, then I checked Koodoo... My word the prices have seriously climbed since last I checked.

I joined the dark side this week (Xbox owner) and bought a PS5 DE from FNB/Hirsch on Fnb day last week - delivered yesterday.
Paid R6240. (40% eB discount). :cool:

Hey!!!

For the past erm 200 hours of playtime, I've been building space ships and touring galaxy no 156. Mostly on PS5 cause for some reason Xbox lags on getting expeditions.

Left the demons for a tad so that they can rest :D
 
The console will be revealed to my teenage boys on Xmas... lol.
We are currently playing on a XB SX but one machine between the three of us doesn't work out.

Hoping for some nice BF specials to start my PS5 library. Boys mostly play the competive free stuff (Marvel / Fortnite etc).

That's cool. I probably won't play it through again, either, but I've never been a 'game plus' mode person, although clearly many people are. One thing that does annoy me though, is when they add new trophies/achievements that require re-playing the whole game to get. Makes it impossible to get all achievements with a normal playthrough. Silly.

I wanna be happy for you but things for PS also used to better than they are now.
 
@AlphaJohn I'm glad to say that I got the 33% discount for another year's worth of PS Plus. Actually wanted to go down a level but I'm worried it will make it so that I can't get it. So screw it, another year of PS Plus Deluxe.

Oddly I wanted to up PS+ to Extra cause I wanna drop GamePass to essential next year when my Ultimate expires.

And I got:

I mean, come on, now was a perfect opportunity to give 20% on 12-month Extra and 33% on 12-month Deluxe, but noo. I got "Here get 12 more months" of what you're eating already. :D

Mine also expires in December, can confirm it's available to me as well. Seems like they changed the rule about it not applying to existing subs...
