AC Shadows
I just can't get myself to play AC games, tried a bunch of them and they just don't gel with me. Then again, it's like that for most Ubisoft games - there is just something about them that puts me off. Last Ubisoft game I actually finished was Far Cry 3.

I'm also a huge fan of Star Wars but after like 2 hours in Ubisoft's Outlaws I just don't want to carry on.

I loved Ghost of Tsushima and loved Ghost of Yotei. Sunk many, many hours into both.

The co-op for Ghost of Yotei was also made available recently if that's your jam. Played it a bit on GoT and it was really fun.

So PS6 only hitting, come 2028 sometime at the earlist?

My xbox is on the older side. Worried that it will crap out while I am rocking GTA6.
So, worth it to buy the PS5 Pro now <R20k, before the sony price increases hit South Africa, and then likely tapping out of gaming, or to wait it out on xbox, till GTA6 releases on PC?

Pretty sure the price of a PS 5 pro will drop once the 6 is released, heck GTA 6 might be released with the PS 7 for all we know.

Anyone played Ghost of Yotie yet? Considering starting it next. But it’s £70 for the game. Worth it? GoT was amazing.

It wasn't that amazing tbh, theres a reason why it didn't get GoTY back in 2020 because TLoU2 was a much better game but thats not to say I didn't enjoy it. Loved GoY as well, game play is solid and like others mentioned, play it with Japanese voice over rather

Could we be getting TLoU Part 3?

The Last of Us director Neil Druckmann teases a 'few stops that remain on the road ahead' of the beloved Naughty Dog series

Naughty Dog studio head and The Last of Us director Neil Druckman has seemingly teased the future of the PlayStation series.

In a recent Instagram post, Druckmann shared a post that read, "Cleaning out the garage today and stumbled on my original sketches from 2003 for a game pitch about a man, his surrogate daughter, and a trek across a broken America."

The director included the sketches, which early early renditions of Joel and Ellie years before they came to life in Naughty Dog's The Last of Us for the PlayStation 3.

I saw that complaint going around as well. I always play these games with Japanese voices and English subs, which were perfect imo

Ghost of Yotei and Tsushima are American games. If you really want to be a purist you should play them in the original English voice. There is no nuance from the original creators or their culture.

This in opposition to say The Witcher, which if you really want to get the whole old pagan vibe, you should run in Polish with English subtitles. I bet most purists don't do this.

Of course on a more superficial level, sure, Ghost games could be played in Japanese audio to get that 'immersion' but then you have to read subs often enough.

At the end of the day one can do what one wants. These are after all games, they're not made by people from medieval or ancient lands so even cultural imports of native developers are shaped through modern lenses.

Still Tsushima and Yotei is like- this is caricature of ancient Japan- as seen by Americans in California, while at least the Witcher is like, this is the pagan mythology from our culture and related folk tales and some archeology.

Ram Prices went up by 300-400%
Something that did not happen with the other consoles so not a fair comparrison

16GB DDR6 alone now cost about $300
add another $150-$180 for the 850MB-1GB NVME
thats basicly $450 leaving just $200 for the CPU and other parts.

In my books, Ai or more to the point, OpenAI is the real monser in this tale.

Edit: The bastards bought production thats not even beeing used right now.
