Physical disc production ending in January 2028 for new games releasing on PlayStation consoles

So looks like PS6 will not have an attachable disc drive. They should really let people create digital licenses from their discs. There are some folk with huge collections who are going to be pissed.
 
Don't worry guys Sony will never take away your digital licenses and do you the favor and removing them from your library.

Just ask everyone who bought (read: paid for) over 500 movies on Playstation.

You are secured Playstation bros.

I still remember when Sony took away "Other Linux" after people bought their consoles.

Anything you "purchase" from this company can be revoked at any time for any reason.

Digital Foundry did a video on this a few months ago and it looks like a lot of the games are still too much for the PS5 CPU. Emulating that RSX chip is not cheap.

Update:

Got the TMR sticks installed over the weekend

makes a big difference.... thanks for the recommendations and suggestions
 
Anyone looking forward to Naughty Dog's latest in development game Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet?

If their past record is anything to go by it should be another quality title.

Could do with an Uncharted 5 as well though.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. Have enjoyed all their games. Well, the ones I've played anyway.

Dude I would love another Uncharted game, it doesn't even have to star Nathan Drake, they can bring in a new hero. If Heretic Prophet launches in 2028 then it would still mean at least another 5+ years before their next game...
