hi all, i'm new to this forum and to hacking the PSP, i've successfully downgraded my psp to version 1.50, but now i'm faced with game problems...

i cant find a download that works! i've downloaded burnout legends and burnout dominator, both of them installed and psp says "cannot launch, game corrupt".

any ideas where i can get a version of burnout that works, and most important of all, 1 that has clear instructions?

thanx in advance

killa just a quick answer do you have the original game.
Another thing is that you cannot just have the game on a memory dtick exspect it to luanch without a program..It does not work that way.
My sugestion is download dark alex 303oec custom firmware and install that on your psp...read carefully the instuctions, then put the legal back up iso in the iso folder then you good to go.
pm me or gert me on yahoo if you still struggling.my name is sutitz on yahoo

thanx for the prompt reply, i just managed to downgrade my psp today from version 2 to 1.50, i'm using devhook to mount the iso's on my psp, but both games that i have dled appear to be corrupt... maybe i'm doing something wrong... are u in retreat?

i wil only be home in 3 weeks time si i guess you will have to speak to me on yahoo.I need to talk to you in realtime to understand your problem.I help many people online with this type of problems but you must give me more information pertaining you problem...I mean devhook, there are many versions.things like
what size is your devhook/emulating what firmware /games required firmware.size of the file/i can go on and on but please give me all da info,so i can help you her on this forum.
explian in detail what you did...i will see what i can do

I would say that you should scrap devhook, it's the old way of doing stuff. Save yourself a lot of trouble and install 3.03 OE-C. It'll make your PSP life so much easier and fulfilling.

It does seem so :) Maybe he should wait for you to get back to CT, then pay you a visit, so that you may sort him out one time with the flashing.

I just updated to 3.30 OE and its working a treat. Now its got almost all the same functions as my PS3.

I was also scared to use the flash. But if you read the instructions you will be fine.

lol, not scared to flash it... thing is i just downgraded, now i have to upgrade again, lol... i got my burnout legends iso to work with devhook, but i am considering doing the upgrade... things is can i go straight from 1.50 to 3.30?

Im using 3.30 OE-A
Been using it since early yesterday. Seems very stable to me, everything works, all the games and features.

Ill be in PE for the next 2 weeks. Anyone need anything, let me know.

You won't need to mount anything on the custom firmware, you just copy it into the folders where it needs to go, and then play it. Simple as that.

thanx man, it's done! works like a bomb, i just did a friends one too, but he has v2.0 (japan!!!), so i downgraded to 1.50 and then upgraded to version, 3.03 E0, all is well, BUT through all of this the keys remained the same, X and O are switched around, it's been like that since he had it... how do i make it like mine where X is X and O is O???

Turn off his PSP totally, then turn it back on whilst keeping the right shoulder button down. You will now be taken into the Recovery mode. Whilst in Recovery mode, select Registry hacks, then select Button Assign. You can select which button you want to be enter. Like X is my default. You will also be able to enable WMA playback as well as the Flash Player.

In Recovery mode you can do lots of usefull things, but I would suggest that you don't play around with it too much.
