PSU Opinion

Even at R200 more?

Of course. The Corsair is not even Modular. This is a MUST in my opinion.
The Corsair is also extremely dated as it still has 2 floppy connectors?\.

A PSU is one of those components that you want to keep forever, so paying the extra buck goes a long way.

The Seasonic is Modular, plus it has OCP, OPP,OTP, OVP, SCP & UVP.
Had I not had OCP, OPP,OTP, OVP, SCP & UVP on my Coolermaster SM2 850w then my Mobo wwould have died in my last power outage.

Many Corsair power supplies are actually Seasonics anyway. The GS series is not. Get the Seasonic.

Seasonic if you want one that lasts forever or a Sharkoon modular PSU if you are tight on cash. Depends on how long you'll be pushing the limit on them ;)

Seasonic hands down.
I have the Seasonic 620W and it's a great PSU.
Silent and modular.
In fact, the new range even has the power cable modular as well now.

Seasonic is always a great choice. If you're going Corsair, their new CS range is very good and you're in the same range as Antec's Truepower and Thermaltake's Toughpower, so that's also an option if you can't find stock of your first choice.

At least when it comes to some of the high-end stuff. Channel Well is their other major OEM and most of the modern Corsair units being praised are Channel Well designs.

Definitely the Seasonic. Are you sure you need that much juice though?
