PSU sadness.

last night, /cry, my pc went off, and didnt come back on... then i unplugged the 8800GTs 6 pin, and boom, power again, put the 6 pin in again, and poof, no more power, the PSU im using is a 500 watt Gigabyte psu, so which one is screwed you guys think?

easiest thing to do would be try a diff gfx card in there, could u maybe try a friend's or something?

u could also try a molex ---> 6 pin convertor if u have one, see if that works.

How long have you had the PSU? I think the problem here is most likely with the PSU, I can't see why ur gpu would prevent you getting any power at all. If the problem was with the card I would imagine the PC would at least still power on.
