hey never checked that one ... but thanks will check it out and then decide but that is better than the be quiet and in some ways the corsair

Be Quiet! is quite a good brand. I didn't know we could now get it in this country. They also make quite nice coolers and fans.

I'd suggest the Corsair TX 650 or TX 550M. The TX 650 should be able to handle any single graphics card setup. The TX550M should be good enough for anything except maybe the very top end cards, but has the advantage of being semi-modular, leading to less cable clutter.

TX is the next series up from GS in terms of quality for Corsair PSUs and has a very good track record.

I wouldn't go with that CM PSU. Extreme Power is their budget range and that PSU has no efficiency certification. If you want a CM PSU, then look at the Silent Power range.

Edit: on checking a review of the Extreme Power 2 475 here I would say stay the hell away from any Extreme Power 2 PSU - no Active PFC, voltage and ripple both outside ATX specification, poor efficiency. Terrible PSU. The 725 version may be different, but I would not take a chance. The 475 and 725 also does not even indicate anything near their 12v power.

Just go with the XFX ProSeries 550W @ ~R670: http://www.rebeltech.co.za/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=30&products_id=9516
or if you want a modular one, go with Antec HCG-520M @ R785: http://www.rebeltech.co.za/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=30&products_id=5546

Also, you may want to order an 8-pin EPS extension cable, unless you can take a short route in your case: http://www.rebeltech.co.za/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=69&products_id=8479

Edit:
Rudimental made very good suggestions and remarks too - but more to the expensive side of things :)

Like you really don't need more than a 500W PSU for a mid-range single graphics card. A decent 500W PSU should suffice for any single graphics card, except perhaps some dual-GPU or ultra high-end ones like the Titan.

I'd recommend a Corsair TX above the GS - the GS has appalling efficiency figures. The TX is

hmmm now i dont know... i dont klnow much about power supplies...

Each of these looks good, but what about this one my friend suggested

Ofcourse you'll get all the cables with that PSU. You may still want to get an extension cable if your case is really big.

Seasonic is the manufacturer for many of the high end Corsair PSU's, so you can trust that PSU for sure!

As far as I'm concerned Seasonic is the best. Most of the great PSUs out there are rebranded Seasonic PSUs.

But their own X series PSUs are just amazing in terms of build quality, not a single cheap component used.

Neither do I but I've recently come to realise that spending dosh on high end components (like you have) and going cheap on a PSU is stupid. I also got a Seasonic a little while back (X-850) and per my research at the time it's pure class. And when you open up that box and look at that svelte packaging and top-end components - you know why you spent the money on it....
