Good on your late dad keeping his mind sharp. We're never too old to learn.

If the psi phenomena were BS then America's CIA would have stopped their studies at Project Stargate. But they didn't. The AATIP list is a clear indication that the studies are ongoing.
 
Last month I was listening to music one afternoon, laying on my bed. I got this weird feeling that I remember having years ago which I couldn't place why, when I had the feeling. Then I remembered that the last time I had this feeling somebody died. I convinced myself that was just a coincidence but later that evening I got news that somebody in my extended family had passed.

Just out of curiosity, were you expecting this news in any way ?, as in was the person ill or something. Or was it completely unexpected.
 
When I was a teenager I was busy listening to The Call of Ktulu from Matalica live album with the orchestra. Next moment I fell asleep and woke up opposite side corner the room in paralysis with my arms bend awkwardly and behind my back. I tried to call for help but couldn't get the words out. Eventually got feeling back into my legs and pushed myself out of the corner and fell over on my back. Arms felt like they were broken for the next week. Told my mom that I tripped and fell as I knew she wouldn't believe me.

Haven't listened to it since.

Sleep paralysis is not fun. Did you see any dark shapes or feel like you were not alone?

I've had sleep paralysis where I woke up with my arm feeling numb and I thought I had a stroke but when I fully woke up and found out the reason why I perceived my arm was numb was because it was down my pants, I probably hit REM sleep mode mid balls scratch.
