Pugs and Achievements

So...how is someone with an alt supposed to raid with every pug you "can" join asking for achievements >.<

My main is in a progress guild and thus doesn't do Naxx, OS and EoE, so can't get my priest in there :(

Only way would be to join a "newish" guild with my priest, but then I can't see if main guild needs me :p

Why not just ask if you can link your main's achievement for the instance? They should understand, usually that is what I do.
 
The new patch will give you new achievements when you pug raids. (So I heard on vent last night). The new patch well also help you pug easier.

Not raids, 5mans give you the achievements and the rewards.

Ah, good idea :D Will try that! I have the gear for the stuff I want to do, but not the achievements :p

I'm Ulduar 10man ready with gear, even though I've never seen the inside of a raid on my Priest...gearing is a joke now :p
 
Likewise, my hunter is geared for ToC 10, Ony 25 & so on, but hasn't been able to finish Naxx10 even yet thanks to the "LAENK ACHEEF ADN EEPPIXX PLX OR NO INVATE!!!" mentality these days.

You're seeing people demand Epic achieve for frakking Heroics nowadays. Not often to be sure, but increasingly so, and I only wish I was ****ting you.
 
I usually ask the guy who is requesting the achievement to link his 25 man achievement as well as his exalted reputation with the Hydraxian Waterlords. I don't pug often :)
 
LoL the one day a guy wanted me to link the achievement for the specific heroic in question, it was VH that day. My reply was: "Are you kidding me?" - he invited me after that reply. Of coarse that char already had gear from ToC10 at that point.

lol ye...some people expect everyone to have done everything :p

Also, most of the peeps asking for the achievement don't have it themselves

I never get asked,Top 5 guilds are invited by default :P

I avoid the pugs where they ask for the achievement. Fortunatly there is no shortage of raids and heroics in our guild :D
 
Achievements spammers make me lol. I actually got this last night...

"Hai, would you like to come TotC25 as tank?"

I have 41k HP self buffed with about 40% - 45% dodge. So I naturally reply with sure as well as link my stats.

I then get...

"Please link achievement"

I raid with 9 other friends on my druid ever since I gave up hardcore raiding on my warlock. I inform him of this and give him my warlocks armory details which has 4/5 TotGC done.

I get this...

"OMG noob you have no achie, you don't get inv without achie"

So to summarize. I get asked to come to someones raid, I agree I then get asked for an achievement, I say I don't have it on this particular char at which point I get flamed for being a noob.

Ye, the amount of retards really has sky-rocketed post-WotLK.
 
i had no problem with my druid to get into pugs,i linked the achievement from my main and i got into the pugs,did ony 25 voa etc the first day i ding without any problems :)
