Pule rejects tender accusations with contempt

the correct statement is "reject with the contempt it deserves". If the accusations have a hint of truth the contempt they deserve is none whatsoever.

Her performance as minister on the other hand warrants rejection, whether to add contempt is entirely a personal preference.
