Pulling the race card

I am so sick and tired of the race card.

Race and racial issues are more polarised today than they ever were under Apartheid. I guess that's Apartheid's true legacy. Pity that the idiots who spawned it won't be around to reap the 'rewards' of their efforts.

Well what the hell do you expect from the ANC?
I expect them to discharge the responsibility handed to them by the majority in a responsible manner. Wishful thinking, I know... :(

How balanced is the BBC's coverage on African matters?

More balanced than the ANC's coverage on African matters. :p

Edit : At least on this issue. The ANC doesn't want to admit there's a crime problem and they attack anyone and everyone who contradicts them. If it's overseas then it comes from colonial afropessimists. If it's from within the country then those who disagree are told to leave if they don't like it.

Lol Shame! Whining again I see.
Live with it!

I haven't seen the documentary in question but the anc's response wasn't to refute any points made in the documentary but rather to label it as racist without any grounding so they can happily dismiss it as not relevant.

By the way, why question how balanced the bbc are? Do you have examples of previous biased reporting on their part? From my experience the bbc are one of the very few decent broadcasting companies. I would put a lot more faith in them being balanced then the sabc.

ANC's response to the crime issue is lacking but I still want to know whether the BBC's African issues coverage is balanced or not?

The BBC biased against Africa

Bwahahahahahah :D :D :D :D

Oh man in life you really hear some odd things. In fact it sounds more like something BoB would say:eek: . Actually that isn't very  ing

BBC's African coverage is probably more balanced as it would be free of the biases associated with local media - seeing as it is removed from Africa and they have no African agenda, as opposed to the SABC who is an government mouthpiece.

The ANC's response, however, is testament of how the ANC is incapable of moving forward. Children can do better than the ANC.

Everyone's got a bias. I would expect the BBC to be biased on certain economic issues. However, I don't think any racial bias would get aired on the BBC.

Without having seen the report in question, I would bet that at the end of the day they did report it fairly accurately, or at least, there was no attempt to slant the facts to fit their worldview.

Digital I've seen the video and I found it compelling as well, but the ANC's response seems to be suggesting that the BBC has a history of negative reporting on African issues.
Such suggestions are rather misplaced. One needs only look at one of the many apartheid documentaries to dispel such claims.

Hold on, you and I agree? OMG !!:D

In all fairness, reporting negatively about Apartheid is still reporting negatively about African issues.
