Purchasing a Netgear WNDR3700

Hi all

As per the title, my uncle is coming out end of November from America, and was thinking of asking him to bring me the
WNDR3700 N600 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router

Apart from probably needing an adapter for the plug or an alternative power supply.

Does anyone see any reason not to buy one from the States?

What is wrong with your current modem/router that you need an upgrade now?

Just depends on your needs and you haven't stated much to give an indication of what you will be using it for or if your current setup proves inadequate :p.
 
Well seeing as I still have Telkoms useless "Mega 105" I think i need to change a little.

Am also looing to start streaming my movies etc to the tv,tablet etc. and my current one has proven itself to be inadequate on many a numerous occasion

The 105 can serve as a plain dsl modem in the interm until I upgrade it to something better.
