Does any bank have a savings debit card with mastercard/visa logo that can be used online which isn't a cheque or credit card?

Tried FNB and no luck with their debit cards with the visa logo

The card has to have your name embossed on it & have the VISA logo.

Its a savings account right and do you pay a monthly fee? Do I have to go into the bank to get the card/account or can I order it online via Capitec's website?

Capitec is a savings account.
You have to go into a branch though.
But its rather painless. 10 minutes tops and you're done.

Monthly admin fee of like [-]R14 iirc.[/-]

MY bad - its actually R5.

You'll have to go to Capitec and open an account with them. It costs R5 a month per account. You'll get a debit card with the MasterCard logo. You'll have to explicitly ask them to activate the MasterCard to be able to use it for online purchases.

Thanks so much R5 is not bad for an online savings card :D. Do I need to take anything besides my ID to open an account?

Cool

Cool

Yes, you have to take some sort of proof of residence. Less than three months old.

If I get all accounts sent to my Po box what can I use, does a bank statement with address work?

Oh did you get your card right away when you made the account want to go tommorow?

A bank statement should work, but I can't promise anything. You should get the card immediately. Remember to ask about activating the Mastercard for online purchases.
