There is no such thing.
IMHO it is based on the player and how sharp he is about his class.
I have seen priests that own all.
Then again saw mages/hunters/paladin/warriors/rogues doing that.

i agree with volstruis, its all about the player, also bear in mind that the rogue was prolly sitting with like 30 ms and you sitting with 400+ ms.

if i was going to make a PVP char id make a warrior.

It was in Arati basin lvl 20-29. I got a lvl 28 Hunter (and lvl 27 cat). I thought Hunters were the best pvp class???

Oh I forgot to mention I saw a lvl 70 Rogue duel a lvl 70 Paladin and the Rogue took the Paladin apart, even with his "bubble" and heals. Are Paladins any good for PVP?

You should target a class u want to pwn bad.

Rogues < Hunter
Hunter < Warlock
Warrior < Paladin
Warlock < Rogues*

* TBH Rogues pawns anything appart from a hunter in lvl 29 BG but on occassion you do get close enough to own him in 3 shots ;)

The fact is this:

U wana own in BG, it can be any class... Twink it up and you'll pwn atleast 12 people before you wipe ;)

Hmmm, I get 400 on a really really good day. I recon i need to do 2 things, Twink up a bit (need a higl level for that 1st :() and find a way of getting down to 30ms :P

A guy can dream cant he?

Level 29 Hunter twinked a bit, is by far the best char in that bracket. Some other twinked rogues will get the jump on you on occasion, but you could kill 4-5 others before u get killed easily.

Have also seen quite a few druid bears running the lvl 29 bracket with way over 2.5k HP, taking these down with a hunter is not easy at all.

Get some +15 agil enchants on your weapons, and boost the rest with stamina. My hunter twink had 1.3k HP and were hitting for about 200 with his bow and 650 crits. Best bow for a level 29 hunter is ofc the level 43 green bow obtainable through the STV hunting quests (lvl 28 required to get this)

Twink BGs are a pathetic waste of time unless you plan to spend hundreds of gold on your toons gear. My 70 can make Nethercleft Leg Armor which sells for more than 300g, and the biggest market for them is lowbie twinks.

Trust me it's no fun at all playing against these guys. Your skill is irrelevant vs these guys gear.

At 70 the most over powered toons are Warlock - Warrior - Paladin. Rogues and Hunters don't feature esp in arenas.

I twink for 2 reasons

1. I need to have a char always ready for BG if I feel like some BG.
2. I remeber the days I played BG and was owned so hard it took me 5 days to get 30 tokens. With a twink I help the fellow Horde for their token hunts ;)

That is the reason a person can roll more than 1 char - Duh !!! :D

lol yep, unfortunatley we live in a wonderful country of high speed broad band so like our latency is No1 in the world!!

i guarantee you that 85% of the people that you play against in BG/PVP have proper ms to play with,This kind of takes the fun away from us here in SA with our high speed broadband connections you know:D In pvp only guilds one of the requirments was having ms below 100 at all times....WTF!

I tried PVP for a while but pretty much gave up after i was bascially been owned by everyone in BGs.It was soooo frustrating when you keep getting messages that : your facing the wrong way, unable to do that,Not enough energy!! bla bla bla!!

I then came to the conclusion that PVP for me was a waste of time,And been unable to do anything besides captue the alliance flag and run like forest gump i gave up.

Until SA gets there own servers( which will never happen) you and me and many others who love PVP will never get to expierence the full joy and potential of PVP here in SA

I play a perfect game of PvP with a ping below 900ms

Anyway PvP is a way of life, Either you like it and better yourself at it or suck and go lvl further :D

when i was in the US i played a perfect BG with 10 ms!! Id rather prefer the 10ms over the 900 ms anyday,Your skills and actions are much more responsive and with my rogue stunlock was simply amazing!

trust me with 10 ms you can achieve sooooo much more !! more kills = more honor!! but that was back in the day before TBC :D

No i agree.

The thing is u get used to what you have to work with. I think I'll suck if I now have to play on 10ms. Only cos I'm used to my playing style with the little lag we have :o

I did notice a difference in bg,s at differing lvl,s. For eg pre lvl 60 av, seemed to loose a lot yet lvl 70 i have a 80% win. this is horde btw.

on my server Horde always won

there were a couple pre made groups in the alliance that we/horde struggled with but hell we pwn'd em!!

Rogues < Hunter
Hunter < Warlock
Warrior < Paladin
Warlock < Rogues*

The above is not correct.

Rogues are good against cloth wearing classes (mage/lock/priest) thanx to high burst, cloak of shadows, stuns and the energy mechanic. They excel in 1v1 combat and locking down a target.

Warriors are great in a group setup with a healer due to the rage mechanic, plate armor, high hp and mortal strike. They are not great on their own, especially if your gear is lacking.

Warlock are the strongest class at the moment 1v1 - they can defeat anyone. This is largely due to the strength of their dots, their massive health pool, fear and drain life.

You will find that most classes have their anti-class, like warrior vs rogues for instance. But if you want to be unstoppable in PVP, go for the FOTM and roll a lock. You don't even need good latency. Just beware that ppl have been complaining vehemently about locks for a good while now and I suspect a considerable nerf is on the way.

I play with 400-600 latency on a WebAfrica unshaped account. I can top the kills list in BG's with my warrior if I put some effort into it. PVP is possible from SA.

I'll knock the socks off your lock :D
