q: CellC contract?

Hi guys,

I wonder if you guys could please advise me on this matter?

I recently took out a contract with CellC where-in I got the S4 deal.

After a day, I noticed the phone becoming very hot, whilst using it for some period of time as well as when it was being charged.

I immediately took it back, where they then sent it to the technicians who then authorized that I should get a new phone.

Some friends and a few family members also complain of overheating. and so i'm left thinking that this may not be a good phone to get considering this issue?
As I don't like ssending my phone in each time, considering it takes along time to setup after you've got everything to your liking.

Is it too late? Could I get a different phone altogether for the same deal? or if possible, could I upgrade the contract? or worse, am I stuck with this badly designed phone for the duration of the contract?
Note, I've not gone to fetch the new phone yet, the contract is about a week or 2 as I've waited quite some time for the technicians to go through with the authorization so I've practicly had the phone for a day.

any help would be appreciated!

Not heard of any other issues with regards to the S4 getting hot? I've got one myself and it's a fantastic phone and never gets hot.
 
Ja me too. Have my S4 almost 2 weeks now, not once felt any heat coming from the device. You must also remember, it's fairly normal for the super phones to generate some heat when being used extensively, I remember my S2 had some big heat issues that was put down to CPU activity.... But yes, if your phone gets very hot from just reading something on the net, or typing an email or sms, then have a techie look at it...
