Indeed :-) Buy yourself a Mikrotik router such as the RB-751G, and let it do the dialing up/sharing, and QoS. Or if you don't want to waste money and don't mind tinkering for a few more hours, do it on linux

Hi There,
This is not the best device to do QoS on. The manual is here if you want to try and it appears to be IP address related which may work for you.
If you are really serious about it then +1 to fragtion and the Microtik but that is going to take a bit of reading and setting up.

Regards

Tim

Forget it. The router QoS can make things slightly better but its still going to suck pretty hard especially at the lower line speeds.

ADSL router QoS settings have no effect. Not supported by Telkom.

Upgrade to the routertech firmware.

Is yours an AZTIME1 or 2 (check serial).

You can then download the firmware and flash. Yell if you can determine what model I can tell you what firmware.
