Hi,
I have searched the forum and internet before making this post.
Ive recently discovered an issue with the web proxy server when clients behind the gateway are using QQ Instant Messenger.
QQ Instant messenger is able to send and receive chats in whatever mode you set the GW to. Transparent or non transparent, one is able to send and receive chat messages.
However when one wishes to send offline files to a contact the system becomes erratic. The first file you send might go through and reach the contact, however subsequent "Offline files send" will fail. Occasionally after a while when trying to send it might work.
I have disabled all AV checking & scanning, IDS & IPS and verified the firewall is clean. I have also added an authentication bypass for the IP address provided on the configuration screen of the QQ client when adding a proxy server.
I have read some vaguely common issue on a PFsense forum and not sure it applies here.
Please could someone assist me as the server in question is already in a production environment and cant be removed.
