Quake Live CTF Tonight!

I will see if the server is busy, I sat for nearly 25 minutes looking for players. And no one joined :( So I gave up and watched red vs blue.
 
I will be online tonight. I left my PC to download last night. It should be complete.

Tonight at 8 again?
 
Lol I gave up and when I gave up and started to DL the server started. I took it as a sign I was not meant to play :P lol

I will try again tonight. Just gotta finalize my Afrihost bandwidth :P
 
I give up on Quake Live. Once in a while if I'm lucky I can connect. I don't have problems with other games. It's still too buggy. Some of my friends are sometimes missing in the friends part of the site and it's most often then when I can't connect. And I'm not the only one with this problem. On the forums there are lots of other people who has the same problem as me.

It was fun the couple of times I could play but it's just too annoying trying to connect the whole time only to see Firefox hang.
 
It is very weird that they still have so many bugs. I know a friend has to delete some file every time the map changes and it sorts him out.

But on XP with my firefox it is working perfectly! I am a tad nervous as I plan to hit Win 7 in the next couple of days. Holding thumbs it does not freak out on me then!
 
Sigh....

My installation is starting from then beginning again. Don't think I will make it online tonight :(
 
Lol no there was an update yesterday +- 11 megs. If you see the download like you did the first time, don't have a heartattack.

The update is around 15megs in total but they have a new plugin which fixes a bunch of problems I believe.
 
I managed to get online last night eventually. I will be online tonight.

Its been a while since I played this. Need to get back into Cyber Shape :p

You should be fine. Im using win 7 RC1 still with firefox and it works great. Almost got the same config i used in normal Q3, games load quick and ya its fine for me.
 
I get the same issue and nothing seems to work expect try again the next day
Kinda frustrating but every time im craving, i fire up Q3A and defrag :D
 
Tonight is format time haha :P So hopefully the format goes well and I can download the new files again.

Im not gonna try the whole copy over thing, as I am going from XP 32bit to Win7 64 bit. So I will rather just download the stuff and see how it goes :P
 
I Installed Win 7 x64 on the weekend that past. Quake Live on runs great on Win 7
 
anybody for a game today? Im not that good but i just wanna play against someone :)
