Quakewars: One purchase for 2 ppl?

MY fiance and I want to get the full version of Quakewars, we dig the demo.

Is it possible to play it on the SGS server with one cop? I find it hard to purchase two unique copies. We want to play online together at the same time, from the same place :p
 
I doubt it is possible but maybe someone else can give you some insight I don't know about :) I would say a CD key of sorts would not allow two people with the same copy to play online.

I have just purchased a copy at take2 online for R270-00 and I am awaiting delivery so it's not too bad a price. Buy both copies same time so you only pay one delivery fee of R29-00 I think.

Yeah, my worry is, people will stop playing it on SGS and in 4 months it'll be a complete waste :S
 
not quite sure if i want to buy this - see how hellgate turns out. only game on my mind at the moment JERICHO :)

I have a copy of Quake Wars that I got for free at a media launch. Don't wanna play it, so I'm selling it for R150.00
 
My copy of Quake ET has already arrived :eek: it is sitting on my work desk right now...too bad I am at work :( :mad: LOL and time is going to go by as sloooowly as it has ever done before *sobs*
 
I will tell you when I try maybe later today at home, the demo had bots and the AI seemed pretty good but I cant speak for the full product.

There is no specific single player career only bots afaik.
 
Picked up my copy at rAge. Have to say i'm very impressed with the full game. Very nice and good looking maps and the AI really is good from what I have played so far on single player. The SGS servers are completed maxed out most of the time and the game is really very popular. Very fast paced and extremely fun to play.

Just tried it out :) AI is quite impressive and Single player is objective based campaigns. A mission is done the same as online except you are against bots and you respawn and respawn until the time runs out or the objective is done.

Online is best though as it records your stats and gives you medals and stuff I suppose.
 
ok i went and got the collectors... ;)

now to install and play

rather get normal one and save R100

for R100 extra you get
5 movies
about 10-20 'art' files
oversized cards which are nice
fan web site kit
ringtones crap
3 songs - soundtrack

Thanx JTS. Would you have bought the game for R299 for single player only? I have to choose between a few games now and can only buy one ... and I'm not into online play.
