Quakewars: One purchase for 2 ppl?

The problem is SGS have 3 (unranked) QW servers running. I've played on the objective server with occasional bursts of lag, and I was on the Campaign II server a few minutes ago, with 14 peeps. The lag was so bad it was unplayable. :( Bad SGS.
 
At first I wasn't going to get QW, I thought of it as another BF2 'clone' but I am very impressed so far.
 
thisgeek, what lag u talking about ? I hardly get any lag at all. What adsl line speed you have ? If its 384k, then there is a command you can enter in the console to lower your rate, which may help with your ping.
 
@SC - I think it depends on the server.
When I check the scores, 50% of the players have low pings, and the other half are >500.
Then it goes away for a few seconds, then comes back. It's definitely not connection related. Normally I have a very low ping ~17 or so.

I have played a lag free game on the objective server. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
 
my ping was 16ms-20ms on my IS uncapped.
