Hi all.

I started using questhelper the other day but I am having two problems. The arrow that shows you were to go to do your quests isn't showing and the icons that normally appear on your map which show you were you need to go to do the quests ie where to find mobs you must kill or plants you must collect or w/e isn't showing on the map.

Any ideas?

quite right...

I got the "lite" version which is FREE :D

and I promise you it chalk vs cheese!

yep carbonite is the way to imo also. got it running my fiance's pc and been through questhelper and a few others to, Carb wins hands down (the free one, works wonders)

Or ofc, you could just read the quest log.. i find that works pretty well..

When i used QH i also made sure cartographer was installed . If cartographer wasnt installed it wouldnt work for me

i use both, the last thing it did is not allow me to log my main in, nuked qh and was fine, same issue for a couple of guildies as well.

When I logged a ticket with the gm's re this, the first question they asked was are you running QH, if so nuke it

never had problems with qh. However, cant say the same for cartographer. I got the feeling i needed 180gig of ram to run it. I deleted it asap !

I have had only one problem with QH. On one of the Darkshore quests, 'The Sleeper Awakens', where you have to escort a druid, the game hangs when you start the quest. Disconnecting and reconnecting doesn't help either until the timer runs out. I had to disable QH to complete the quest

I may be wrong, but if you open your Map "m" there is a button to enable or disable quest tracking, maybe you disabled that?

I have no problems with Questhelper, it works like a bomb. Combining it with lightheaded to get MMO-champion comments directly in your quest log is also awesome for those quests that you just need more info.

yeah questhelper is great no propblems except its a resource hog. Luckily I just upgraded my system.

You say that. I wonder how many people actually even read the quests before accepting them anymore...

I used to think that WoW has no core story to it as other RPG's have where you have main quests and sideline ones. Since you can get from 1-80 by just killing mobs and you're not restricted from any progress area by not unlocking certain quests. (dungeon keys not included, since you're not required to do any specific one in order to advance in the game)

Anyway - when you read the quests etc. it becomes more of a lore reminder than anything else.

I know I'm guilty of not reading it properly.
